Late last year I put to rest my former blog “Emergent Pilgrim” (If for no other reason than the name ‘emergent’ has been hijacked by baggage carried over from the emerging church culture in the USA leaving my blog title sounding wanky. There is nothing quite as embarrassing as having Ray Anderson refer to me as Emergent Pilgrim when I posted on his guest post at Faith and Theology). In my last post on EP, I mentioned that I needed to go away and dream it all up again. Well, Scripture, Ministry and the People of God is a better reflection of my blogging interests.
For new readers I am a minister with the Churches of Christ Australia. I currently serve as minister to Church of Christ Happy Valley, Adelaide South Australia. My interests include Biblical Studies/Theology and how it relates to the everyday world of ministry and the people of God. I have a slight addiction to very good coffee and I love gardening and cycling. I am married to a beautiful women Beck (stone cold fox) and have one daughter, Abby who both graciously encourage me to continue reading and buying books!
